Kristen M.

Kristen was born and raised in Tucson Arizona and while she is very loyal to the Sonoran Desert that she grew up in, she is so happy to call Texas her other home. As nothing could ever take away her love of two stepping and hill county swim holes.

Kristen has known that she wanted to be a teacher / guide since she was a child herself. Working with and learning from children is when Kristen feels the greatest sense of pride and purpose. She hopes to be a beacon of light and  a facilitator of learning for all the children she has the honor of having in her classes. She aspires to make a life and career as a Montessori Guide and is so happy to have landed at Mariposa. 

When not in the classroom, Kristen loves dancing, hiking and camping with her husband Jaime. She is also passionate about music, yoga, nature, and plants and has even studied herbalism here in Austin.
