Children’s House Lead Guide

Amanda Hirl

Amanda has over 10 years of experience in early childhood education and has had the privilege of working with children from diverse backgrounds and learning needs. Inspired by the impact Montessori education had on her own daughters, Amanda transitioned from her role as a classroom teacher and Registered Behavior Technician specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to the Montessori approach in 2021.

Amanda joined the Mariposa Montessori team in 2022, and in the summer of 2023, she earned her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Early Childhood Montessori from the University of Nebraska-Kearney, along with her AMS certification.

Outside of the classroom, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the Austin area, and continually nurturing her passion for lifelong learning.
