Angelica Martinez

My name is Angelica Martinez. I was born and raised in Austin Texas. I’ve been an infant teacher in childcare for 10 years. I really enjoy my job and truly love what I do. I believe I was made to be an infant teacher. Childcare is my passion. I love seeing them learn new things, from holding their own bottle, and crawling to walking and feeding themselves.

In my spare time I love to curl up on my couch and read a book. I enjoy walking when weather permits. (Texas is the hottest place ever!)  I also enjoy spending my spare time with my husband watching movies together. We have a fur baby named Callie and an angel baby, we are patiently waiting to meet one day! I’m the oldest of four children, two sisters and a brother. 

I’m excited to start and continue my journey at Mariposa Montessori. This is my first time in Montessori school, but I love the idea of children being independent and their own person while we as parents and teachers watch them grow to be who they are meant to be!
