Anika Belongea

Hi, I’m Anika! I’m originally from Denver and have been here in Texas since the age of 12. My love for Montessori education started early, as I grew up a student of it myself. I believe that discovering our purpose means learning how best we can each serve ourselves, our community and the greater collective. I have learned that my purpose is to guide children in their own self-discovery so that they too can serve their community in whichever way feels most authentic to them. I am just beginning my teaching career, and I am incredibly grateful to be learning from so many inspiring educators here at Mariposa! In my free time I love practicing yoga, spending time in nature, and constantly trying out a new hobby.
