Gus C.

Gus grew up in the East Texas town of Lovelady. Gus has a passion for working with families. While in High School he was a member of Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America. FCCLA is an organization that offers opportunities for students interested in careers that support families. After graduating from High School, Gus attended Texas State University where he graduated with a degree in Human Development and Family Sciences. Gus is drawn to the field of education because it is a career that is meaningful and makes a difference in the world.

When not in the classroom, Gus loves to hike, read, and be creative. He has a passion for building sculptures out of found materials and dabbles in embroidery.
