Heather Sieger

Heather joined Mariposa Montessori School in August 2021. She grew up near Austin before moving to Maine for college. She attended College of the Atlantic where she studied Human Ecology with a focus on Marine Ecology.

After graduating in 2019, she began working at a Montessori school in midcoast Maine working with toddlers where she discovered a passion for the Montessori philosophy. In October 2021, she began her Early Childhood Montessori Certification through the Center for Guided Montessori Studies and expects to finish in June 2023.

Heather loves to travel; her favorite places she has visited include Tonga, Scotland, and New Zealand. She enjoys crafting, including knitting, lino printing, embroidery, and pottery. She loves the beach, scuba diving, and hiking.
