Virginia Potts

Hey y’all! I’m Virginia from Richmond, Virginia and I moved to Austin for the warm weather and boy, it did not disappoint! I began working with children at the age of 13 as a rock climbing instructor at an outdoor adventure camp. I spent 9 summers there and eventually became the Site Director for our youngest age group. Working with kids has always been a joy. To see a child flourishing in the right environment is an honor to witness and be part of.

Outside of teaching, I love spending time with my cat and plant collection, attempting to lessen the number of items in my mending pile, and playing video games. Please be sure to say hello if you see me around campus!
